Interoperability in NetBanking Payments to Launch soon

NPCI is set to launch interoperability in NetBanking payments with 5-6 banks in the first phase. This move will enable seamless online payments for ecommerce platforms.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is gearing up to change digital transactions with the introduction of interoperability in NetBanking and mobile banking-based payments. Currently, NPCI is integrating with five to six banks for the project’s first phase, While an exact launch date is yet to be finalized, the rollout is expected in the coming months, Additional banks will be included in subsequent phases so there’s broader coverage. Once implemented, consumers can choose NetBanking as a payment method while shopping online, regardless of their bank. This initiative is set to streamline ecommerce transactions and offer users further flexibility and convenience.
