Credit card bills can be paid through both online and offline methods. Net banking, IMPS, NEFT, and auto-debit options are convenient ways to pay credit card bills online. Making timely payments helps avoid penalties and maintains a strong credit score.

Net Banking

One of the simplest ways to pay your credit card bill is through net banking. If you have a savings account with your credit card provider, you must register your credit card in your current net banking account and pay the bill instantly. Banks process payments quickly when using a savings account from the same provider If you don’t have a savings account, you can open an internet banking account and use it for payments.

IMPS

Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) is a round-the-clock online funds transfer system that enables customers to send and receive money, pay bills, and settle debts. It is accessible via SMS, bank branches, ATMs, and mobile devices.

NEFT

Through an online banking account at any bank, NEFT enables credit card bill payments to a designated bank. To use NEFT, you must add your credit card as a "Biller" or "Beneficiary." You will need to provide details such as your credit card number, cardholder name, bank name, branch, address, and IFSC code.

Auto-Debit Facility

Paying credit card bills on time is easier with the auto-debit feature. You can submit a request to the bank or enroll via net banking. On the due date, the payment will be deducted automatically.

Being aware of these online options is essential for credit card holders, as it ensures timely payments and prevents any negative impact on their credit score.
