UPI 123Pay Limit Doubled to ₹10,000 for Smoother Transactions

The UPI 123Pay transaction limit is set to increase from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. It will give the green light for users who want greater flexibility for offline payments.

In a move to enhance financial accessibility, the transaction limit for UPI 123Pay is being increased from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. The update aims to specifically target users relying on offline UPI payment mechanisms, particularly those with limited internet connectivity. The expansion is a big step towards financial inclusion, enabling individuals in remote or underserved areas to conduct larger transactions without requiring consistent internet access. By doubling the transaction threshold, the initiative addresses limitations in digital payments infrastructure. Further, there’s greater financial flexibility to users across diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
